just read On a Pale Horse for the first time -- possible spoilers moondog Send a noteboard - 29/09/2009 06:42:18 AM
holy crap, it was better than i expected. i only wish i had read it way back in the day when it was first recommended to me, but "better nate than lever", right? it's been awhile since i could literally not put a book down so this was quite a treat for me.

i especially liked the way Death was portrayed as something compassionate and not to be feared, but the whole love interest was not set up to my satisfaction. i guess it just felt kind of forced, but i guess that was kind of the underlying theme of the situation...

now i'm stuck between wanting to finish up the WoT series before the next book comes out and going out to buy the other Incarnations books since this one was such a quick read. probably i'll pick up the other Incarnations books and leave them on my shelf to be read "some day" while i work on the other stuff in my collection :P
