The Dune Encyclopedia that came out in the Eighties. It's su8ch a trip to read, with its look at the history of the Galactic Imperium in all of its stages, from the Butlerian Jihad to the discoveries of the Rakis Hoard at Dar-es-Balat...

It also has a history of the Bene Gesserit, and the Atreides family.

Like I said, a trip to read...
