I'm particularly fond of our priesthood of the Benefactor, since our main duties seem to be sitting around and pretending that the Benefactor doesn't exist. When we're not stealing things, that is.

I think this really helps place what I see/hear/read about current events in Italy in perspective. I look forward to reading what other, more-informed people have to say to see if that impression is valid.
