Don't you get it? It's not just them. We live in Ohio. Not New York, or San Fransisco, or some other city where people eat vegetables that aren't fried.

Unfortunately it was my first ever fantasy book, so I had no basis in comparison. Shamed to say, I thought it was pretty good then. But since going to read other books, I can say that Inheritance is mediocre at best.
