After that, tons of books to choose from, including my most recent acquisitions, Eleanor Catton's "The Luminaries", this year's Man Booker Prize winner, and Peter Wilson's history of the Thirty Years War which looks fascinating.
It's the Solemnity of Mary, the start of AD 2014, and doubtless someone has read some crap, right?
