By my (admittedly basic) understanding, I think it could be either. That is, either AMoL could be nominated, or the entire WoT series could be nominated.
I'm personally kind of ambivalent about either one winning. I wish there was some fantasy equivalent of a Lifetime Achievement Award WoT could get, instead.
