Well, I came back from Edinburgh with The Sleepwalkers, Michel Faber's Under the Skin, and Karen Joy Fowler's We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves - those last two both look very very good too. Plus the collected poems of James Elroy Flecker, who is awesome, but I've read nearly all of them at one time or another, so that'd be mostly just a reread.
'Tis the season to be jolly - and tell us what you're reading in December and January

Enjoyed that, but I've also read and suggested The Girl with All the Gifts to everyone I know.

Very wordy placemats are absolutely included. We sneer at picture-only placemats. *NM*

I'm sure I will too - after Crimson Petal and the White, my faith in Michel Faber is hard to shake.

I am reading utter rubbish at the moment. Cannot cope with other stuff.
