In the interim since I wrote the review, however, a Russian bookseller that spams my email sent an ad that contained, among other things, a Russian-language book that focuses on the tank tactics used by the Russians. I bought it and read the first 100 pages today. It is extremely interesting because I never had heard of the Russian "teletanks" (radio controlled full sized tanks), or knew that they had Chemical Tanks (which performed badly and were used as flamethrower tanks primarily) and recoilless truck-mounted artillery. It also has tons of photos.
I looked at the book you mentioned on amazon and read the reviews. It sounds like it is probably similar to Trotter's book but according to the reviews there are no maps except at the beginning of the book, which is an enormous detriment in a military history. Looking on amazon did get me to order Finland's War of Choice about the Continuation War, though.
