It's a pity that The Thorn Birds gets so much attention when The First Man in Rome series The Shrike Send a noteboard - 29/01/2015 02:16:26 PM

is so much more spectacular. I know I know. The Thorn Birds (which I love) reached more people through the miniseries.


For anyone interested in the Fall of the Roman Republic period or for anyone who enjoys great historical fiction, it is a true pleasure to read the Rome series.
