I've long been fascinated by French history of that period, the sixteenth and to a lesser extent seventeenth century, but never bothered to read much about that murder. And Albert and his wife Isabella are very well-known around here, I certainly wasn't aware there was any reason to suspect him in Henry IV's death.

I should point out that homosexual or not, Condé and Charlotte did get three children, as I just learned on Wikipedia, including a daughter who ranks among the most famous / notorious women in seventeenth century France, the duchess de Longueville, and a son (nicknamed "le Grand Condé" who ranks among the most famous French generals. So Henry IV did unwittingly help in producing arguably the most glorious period of the house of Condé, though he didn't live to see it.

And really, crowning Marie de' Medici was just insulting, considering he never did bother to crown his kick-ass first wife Marguerite de Valois despite her saving his life, but I may be biased.
