MISTBORN, WARBREAKER, ELANTRIS and THE WAY OF KING (and its sequels) are all set in the same universe or multiverse of planes and worlds. Careful reading of the books will reveal a character called 'Hoid', who appears in every book in various guises, and apparently is the same individual.

According to Sanderson, all of his adult fantasy novels will be set in this same universe and at some point he will write a central work tying them together, probably called HOID (he equivalent of Stephen King's DARK TOWER series, possibly).

He has also said that his YA books are not set in this multiverse, and he has resisted suggestions to insert references to it in WHEEL OF TIME, since that isn't his playground to use.
