The Tides of War (Peloponnesian War ... Alcibiades)


I was pretty young at the time but I recall enjoying it.


If you enjoy Greek history, even Greek mythology, you should at least read a couple of Renault's novels.

I'd suggest the following:

The King Must Die (the early story of Theseus)
The Last of the Wine (Peloponnesian War Athens)
Fire from Heaven (The first in her Alexander trilogy)


And I've heard great things about Renault.
