i've become a huge fan of "lighter" fantasy LadyLorraine Send a noteboard - 26/10/2009 12:10:17 PM
you know, fantasy that actually paces along with readability and a lack of unnecessary plot torsion :P

It may be "juvenille", but authors like Lackey, Pierce (yes I know she's "young adult";), Hobb, etc... are really just making my day. I don't get a lot of time to read and I spend most of my day nose deep in textbooks, a cadaver or a microscope, so being able to just lay back and read something with meaning that doesn't make my brain hurt more is really nice.
