Just finished ASoIaF Book 3. Wowza. Random thoughts!
- Loved Jon's plotline in this book. How great was his speech on the Wall? And Ghost came back! That filled me with so much squee.
Yes, he is one of the best storylines in the entire series.
- Arya and the Hound are the best odd couple ever, they totally need to be reunited at some point. It was great to see Arya knock one off her list herself, way awesome. And is it wrong that I like Clegane?
Arya is my favorite character in the entire book. she is her own person for sure and I can't wait to see her come into her own (ultimately).
- Jaime rocks
- Shae is a bitch. Good on Tyrion, for that and for his dad.
Tyrion is one of the best written characters I've ever read in a book series.
- Littlefinger is smarter than everyone! Holy crap!
Yes, he is quite the crafty bastard. I don't particularly like him but I respect his political prowess (in the sense one can respect a book character). It has been a long time since I read the books but I believe I remember his back story unravelling throughout. I was quite surprised to find out his true motives, both political and personal.
- I was spoiled for the main deaths, but they were still great. Especially Joffrey's. Best death ever. I was also spoiled for Cat's return so that lacked a certain impact
Ha! Joffrey's death is awesome. Not one fucks with the Dornish and gets away with it!
- The prince that was promised... It's Jon, isn't it?
Hmm, I can't remember but there is quite a lot of mystery surrounding Jon and just who his father might or might not be.
That's it. Onto book 4!

a lot of people didn't like Book 4 but I still think it is very good storytelling. I think after finishing it you will see why everyone so anxiously awaits the next book.

I personally enjoyed one of the plotlines in Feast very much and found the others to be so so. *NM*

I didn't HATE the Fourth book. It just wasn't as "wow" as Book 3 was.
