  • Margaret Atwood - The Year of the Flood, a follow up to Oryx and Crake. 7 September UK, 22 September US.

  • Paolo Bacigalupi ~ The Windup Girl. 1 September UK, 15 September US.

  • Iain Banks - Transition. 3 September UK, 23 September US (as Iain M Banks).

  • Brom ~ The Child Thief. 15 September UK, out already in the US.

  • Terry Brooks ~ A Princess of Landover, the 6th book of the Landover series. 3 September UK, out already in the US.

  • Mike Carey ~ The Naming of the Beasts, a Felix Castor novel. 3 September in both the US and the UK.

  • Kristin Cashore ~ Fire. 24 September UK, October US.

  • Suzanne Collins ~ Catching Fire, 2nd book of the Hunger Games. 1 September US, 7 September UK.

  • Philip José Farmer & Win Scott Eckert ~ The Evil in Pemberley House. Out 30 September in both the US and the UK.

  • Gary Gibson ~ Nova War. 4 September UK, October in the US.

  • Gregory Maguire ~ Making Mischief: A Maurice Sendak Appreciation. 15 September US, October in the UK.

  • Mike Resnick ~ Dreamwish Beasts and Snarks. 1 September in both the UK and the US.
