Surviving Antartica Reality TV 2083(It is Sci-Fi) by Andrea White Murtach74 Send a noteboard - 08/12/2009 01:33:18 AM
Ok I know it is kind of an easy read with pretty large spacing asnd font but still... this was one of the best books I have ever read.

It is set in(as the title would suggest) in 2083, America. Now life is very different then, children get TV lessons at home enough for elementary and middle school, after that, you go to a special place and roll the dice. If you win, you go to high school and college, you lose, find a job or starve!

TV is also a large partv of the society, it is how they teach people, they do recreations, except for battles they use live rounds, and survival in a tropical wild rainforest. You are alone in a tropical wild rainforest.

But not to borev you to much I will get onto the story...
5 kids all who lost their die toss need a job money and a life, anf for each of their own reasons they aply to the newest "Historical Survivors" Recreating the 1912 expedition of Robert F. Scott. Except with kids....and Robert died by the way...just thought I'd throw it out there.

Each kid has a unique personality sometimes likeably sometimes not. You will surely develope your favorites. The book covers their expedition...their thoughts...very exciting with direct quotes and facts from Robert F Scott and Birdie Bowers can not forget him...

*****(5 stars) All the way, a great book, just finished it for the third time aqnd thought I would write a review so here it is...
I suggest you read it...
Oh and read my signature please...
People are dying in Africa......
And what are we doing?
Chatting about books...
This holiday season find a charity you trust and donate...
Or let them die...
