Book form:
The Agony and the Ecstasy, by Irving Stone (an unexpected recommendation from my brother...hadn't thought he'd go in for biographies of renaissance painters.)
It's very long, so I'm not sure what else I'll read. I have a copy of 'The Great Train Robbery' by Michael Critchon that I got from a free used book swap as well as 'Interesting Times' by Terry Pratchett, which I've been slowly reading over the course of 8 months...not sure why I haven't finished it yet. Maybe in January.
Audiobooks:
The Picture of Dorian Gray, by Oscar Wilde (was inspired by the interesting movie review feature on the front page of RAFO)
Master and Commander, by Patrick O'Brien
Possibly: The Gathering Storm by BS/RJ (have already read it in book form)

The chief difficulty Alice found at first was in managing her flamingo.

Me too. I am enjoying these book club things. But it is hard to get them read in time.
