I wasn't sure which board to post this on, but as I am increasingly beginning to think of this as the Book Board (as there is not Literature category on the Community MB), I am posting it here. Even if it is about the circumstances surrounding books and not really about the content.
It is a link to Nick Harkaway's blog (I am not sure how many of you follow it, but I recommend its perusal being inserted into your daily ritual) and the point is bad deals for authors because everyone wants all for free (I think that sums it up -- oh, and Google might be (turning) evil) and the legal conundrum.
