I didn't get any of the books on my wish list for this Christmas. It's the negative thing with getting recommendations from you guys.
Almost all the recommended books are not available for fast ordering in Swedish book stores a few days before Christmas.
But, I got two interesting books from my parents:
"The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak and "Cutting for Stone" by Abraham Verghese.
Then, when I and my mom went to one of the grocery stores in town, I bought three more books:
"The House of the Spirits" by Isable Allende, "World Without End" by Ken Follet (the sequel to Pillars of the Earth) and the Swedish crime fiction "Midvinterblod" (~ Midwinter blood) by Mons Kallentoft.
I also got some money from my parents so I could buy some more books (some of the one's on my wishlist).

So I ordered these from The Book Depository:
"Knife of Dreams" by some Jordan guy (I suppose it's time to read this book), "Maledicte" by Lane Robins, "Grass" by Sheri Tepper, "Palimpsest" by Catherynne Valente and "Children of God" by Mary Doria Russell.
So, all in all, I've bought too many books as usual. I have to stop buying books for a month or three.
