Try Teresa Medeiros (especially Charming the Prince) and Bertrice Small (especially Unconquered) Also (don't judge me!) Johanna Lindsay's Warrior's Woman. It's kinda sci-fi/fantasy romance.

When you're ready to wean away, start overloading on paranormal romance. Especially the newer Anita Blake books. The copy/paste sex scenes that aren't even hot will wear you down til you're over it!
