I liked reading Neb's journey and development especially. I'd love to see some more of the history of the world though.


TOR's website has a short story that features Federico, the Weeping Czar, and his love for the Moon Princess. That story keys up the events that shape all that follow.

I'll check it out next time I have a particularly long and tedious optics test at work!
