A nice copy came in the mail - honestly, the GRRM story probably interests me the least. I've given up on ASOIF until the whole thing is published. It sounds as if this story doesn't really stand far enough apart from the series for me to enjoy overly much.
Though it'll be a while before I get to this one - I simply have too many other good books to read first.

These stories take place 85-90 years before the novels and really have no impact on the books, just a few nice references here and there. And, although I go back and forth on this, I think THE HEDGE KNIGHT may be the best SoIaF-related piece of writing to date.
