I like F'lar myself, and don't find him boring at all, he is one of my three favorites (the others being Lessa and Jaxom), but I did find F'nor quite boring.

I have read Skies of Pern, but can't really remember what it was like, and not sure if I will re-read it again soon. I am currently re-reading All the Weyrs of Pern, my favourite, but will probably leave it after that one, as is a good finishing point.

Like I said in reply to Phelix, I respect Anne McAffrey less after finding out about her view, but still enjoy the series as much.
