I don't care about fonts all that much. Tom Send a noteboard - 16/01/2010 03:37:53 PM
Sometimes it's interesting, when they say where the font was first used at the back and give a bit of its history. I also found myself excited when reading a book about the Valois to see that Francis I not only invited da Vinci to France (hence the Mona Lisa is in the Louvre), but he also sponsored and bankrolled the royal printer, Claude Garamond (after whom the Garamond typeface is named).
Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.

– Procopius

I loved the smell of old books. Provided they aren't moldy, anyway. *NM* - 17/01/2010 05:08:09 AM 159 Views
