Who the hell is Meereen? Did I forget that much from the earlier books, or is this a new character that only those following the progress of the fifth book would know?
More specifically, the city where Daenerys is currently residing, so a long way from Westeros proper. In book four, we learned that there's at least one other character on his way to Meereen who's supposed to have a PoV in DwD (Quentyn Martell), and it would appear there's going to be more PoV characters ending up there.
