Terminal World by Alastair Reynolds Werthead Send a noteboard - 23/02/2010 11:22:51 AM
It's out next month and is a hard SF meets the New Weird meets steampunk meets planetary romance crossbreed that is simply pure awesome, and based around a mystery that only some of the audience are going to be equipped to handle. Probably Reynolds' best novel to date, which is saying something.

Whoops, just noticed the 'this year' thing, as I read TW in December. This year has to be the STORM OF SWORDS reread.
