As reported a while back, the final book in Tad Williams' Shadowmarch Trilogy, Shadowrise, has become too big to publish as one book, so it has been split into two volumes. Shadowrise, the first half, will be published in the UK and USA next month.
According to a Tweet from Tad Williams' wife, Deborah Beale, the second half, Shadowheart (not a great title, IMO), will now be published in November alongside the paperback of Shadowrise. It's unclear if that is in both territories, but I imagine it will be the case.
After this not-a-trilogy is completed, Williams will round off his children's book series (co-written with his wife) before embarking on an urban fantasy trilogy involving undead and angels. Williams' publishers report that these books will be much shorter than his normal epic fantasy stuff.
