I have just started the second book in A Song of Ice and Fire hurrah! My second time through. At first I found it a bit hard to get into again as I found I was just dreading some of the horrible things that happened - I haven't read loads of Fantasy where the author is actually mean to the main characters so it came as a bit of a shock when I first read the series.

It's pretty cool reading it again though especially as lovely mister George is updating his livejournal with all the newly cast actors for TV series. So far, they're looking pretty darn good. I really hope they do a good job on it. There are some pretty well known names, but for Arya and Sansa at least, the girls seem to have done little but school plays. I think that's a good thing.

So this will take me a bit into September but after I'm finished, who knows! How exciting.
