Yes. I've read "Forbidden Colors" and the entire "Sea of Fertility" series. RugbyPlayingAshaman Send a noteboard - 23/03/2010 02:13:09 PM
I really enjoyed his writing style and even his suicide had the element of cinema to it. I've read many books by Japanese writers, and I found his work to be highly enjoyable. "The Sea of Fertility" series consists of "Spring Snow", "Runaway Horses", "The Temple of Dawn" and "The Decay of the Angel". "Runaway Horses" is my favorite. You should also read up on his life story as it might enable you to understand his philosophy a bit more.

Another enjoyable book is "Masks" by Enchi Fumiko.
