which is ultimately a positive. There were as many good and promising things about Elantris as there were weak things. Mistborn shows Sanderson growing as a writer and storyteller, developing his skills and style. He doesn't use language like Tolkien, but Sanderson has a good career ahead of him.
But I still cannot bring myself to want to read any of his "good" books. Elantris</I> was just so poorly-written for just a great concept that it make me sad even now to think about it.
