I have just started reading Snow Crash, its the first Neal Stephenson book I've read. Love the humour, wish i was a samurai pizza deliver guy!
So without too many spoilers what are your opinions of the book?

The political aspects and the imagination of the whole thing is rather nifty. Some of it quite ridiculous, of course, but most scifi does that. However, I felt the plot was weak, and that is what makes it the worst stephenson book I have read.
Now, cryptonomicon and the diamond age are much better, and they are followed by anathem and the baroque cycle...

Theme-wise it's fairly close to what you describe, only not boring.

I feel there's definitely some anti-corporationism in there, but it's wildly exaggerated. *NM*
