I only saw a few actually decent books in there. His library is the White Castle of print - cheap crap in shitty paperbacks that are in terrible shape. I only saw a handful of books that actually have any literary merit - The Plague by Camus and some Kipling that wasn't specified on the spine.


I only scanned over the first three and saw Tom Sharpe who is a quality satirical as well other odd names that rang a bell from the past - there was a decent amount of trash but it looked to me like he had a pretty good mix for an author like him.
He also had a few repeat books in there. So I'd guess he's using it as a semi store room as mush as a library.
It does actualy look like a friend's boss's library though, and he is earning obscene amounts, so they really don't show much about the owner.

The shelves look like he put them in himself, too.


Well yeah:P

Also, I expected to see more books.


I do and did, my reaction is to assume that the library is where he keeps boks he is finished with, not books he is using.
