Lighthearted and quick are in short supply on my reading list these day but I do like to throw them as a break. Not sure where I got the idea that it was a political book. SF in general tends to touch on political ideas so exploring them doesn't bother me. One of the best books I have read lately was Julian Comstock and that was a political book, and left leaning to boot but it was done oh so well that I didn't mind.

It really was more the cyberpunk that worried me to be honest but if it is a quick read I will take the chance.
