Actually, it's funny you should say that; when moving some rocks for my mom a few weeks ago I encountered DOZENS of what were (probably) garden snakes. Then they met Mr. Hoe and became dozens of garden snake pieces.
Tho I still maintain that the proper spelling is "ho'" and thus the plural would be "hos. " Does fluency in ebonics count as a second language...? *ponders*
