I wonder if that was at all motivated by the near certainty that this will reopen the Holloway case, that they'll keep hunting until they nail him and the fact that AL still keeps "Ol' Sparky" around as a backup for lethal injection.

Assuming it wasn't a coerced confession (which I HIGHLY doubt, but everyone deserves their day in court) he should never be on the street again, but I can't help if daddys connections will be able to put him there anyway.
