Seriously. I have a crazy obsession with mushrooms and when I order pizza I always say, please put quadruple mushrooms. I sometimes even break it down for them and say 4 times the mushrooms you put on a regular mushroom pizza and Yet I end up with the same amount of mushrooms as a normal pizza. One girl even had the nerve to laugh and ask me "are you sure?" when I said I would like quadruple mushrooms. uhhh yeah...quadruple mushrooms isnt something that just slips out of a persons mouth. Next time im gonna be a bitch and not pay for it or ask them to put the mushrooms on the pie in front of me!
Seriously.
Be really nice and straightforward about what you're paying for and what you expect and the first time they do it right, reward the cook for it by going down to the restaurant and giving them like a $5 iTunes gift card or something.
Seriously.
It worked for me at Sonic. I always used to order sandwiches with no meat and after I talked with the manager and provided some positive reinforcement to the cooks, it hasn't happened since.
