England were very poor against a team mostly made up of journeymen players. They will need to make a massive improvement if they want to go any distance in the tournament.

Fair play to the states, they showed a great deal of composure and clearly had an effective game plan which they all stuck to throughout the game. They never panicked in defence and always calmly played the ball out of their defence rather than just hoofing it into row z, like one Mr. JT.
