Even before he got elected we had commentators like Hislop saying "change...change....change...sounds good, but from what into what"
I could never understand why people got so worked up about someone who said so little so very well.
Didn't he get his chance in politics cause (big time) cause some govenor was making 7 of 9 go to weird assimilation parties or something.
Never listen to what a politician says only what they do.
I don't know anyone who thought he was anything other than a good demagogue, George Galloway can give out really good speeches but i wouldn't want him running the country, in fact the best speaker i have heard was Craig Brown the old Scotland Manager, he did our prizegiving at school, he was an excellent orator. Did a good job with Scotland but i think that was his level.
What other qualities did Obama have, apart from a Black father, all i can remember is Gitmo was getting shut and "change change change"
