we have to beat Ghana to make the quarters, and then Uruguay or South Korea for the semis. None of those opponents would be a sure thing, but they'd all be well within reach, particularly South Korea, should we be so fortunate. The semis would probably see us face Netherlands, Italy, Brazil or Spain, which would likely do us in, but still, the United States could be in the world cup semifinals. One lucky game and we'd play for all the marbles.
