That's my big concern, that Blatter the tosser gets off with this one. Wibble Send a noteboard - 27/06/2010 05:13:09 PM
End of the day England were terrible, truly shocking, they've sucked all tournament and they sucked today. Every weakness i've highlighted was brutally exposed - the need for 2 quality central defenders, the need for a natural defensive midfielder, the need for a striker and the fact that Lampard and Gerrard can't play together. The only weakness that wasn't exposed was the keeper, James saved them from a worse hiding today.

Throw in Germany's pace and clinical passing and that was that. Quality attacking from them, though being a young team they do need to tighten up at the back, but that will come with time. They could easily have scored 7 or 8.

So i'm glad that Germany scored a lot as it will hopefully stop the English press going on about the goal that never was, and instead reflect on how bad they were and why. But i'm disappointed as it may allow Blatter to sneak away from his quite frankly wrong one-man crusade against technology.

I am pleased that the goal differential was more than that one goal. It should have been 4-2. - 27/06/2010 04:55:35 PM 647 Views
