Are we going to do surgery on "oversized" penises, too? Should I be barricading my doors? This particular article struck me as a little too "embrace female sexuality, you chauvinist pig111" but the points it makes, the abuse it spotlights, seem real. Unless some sort of objective metric has demonstrated actual physical or psychological harm results from an "oversized" clitoris, I think peoples genitals should be left the hell alone until they're old enough to make mature decisions about it for themselves. The bizarre and disturbing imagery of a doctor arousing first graders while their parents WATCH illustrates why. And he wants annual follow ups? Are research grants available for all perversions, or just those involving children? Either way, please tell me none of them are coming from my tax dollars.
between having a larger-than-average-penis and homosexual orientation. So, yeah, barricade your doors. You never know.
I'd like to see both of those studied a great deal more, because neither phenomenon makes much sense to me. "This person has no interest in sexual activity that will result in offspring; it will be beneficial for them to be unusually well suited for giving and receiving pleasure through such acts!" Because why...?

The article's focus wasn't really on the ethics of the mutilation itself, but rather the follow up

Setting aside the "vagina monologues" tone, that IS a special kind of wrong.

And just what IS a normal clitoris or vagina? Or even a normal penis for that matter?
