I'm tired of loved ones—you know who you are—who claim they are too busy to pick up the phone, or even write a decent email, yet spend hours on social-media sites, uploading photos of their children or parties, forwarding inane quizzes, posting quirky, sometimes nonsensical one-liners or tweeting their latest whereabouts.


This, at least, is a valid point. I always had trouble with the "I didn't have time!" or "I was too busy!" excuse anyway, but when I can actually see how many hours you are wasting taking inane quizzes and uploading photos and playing mafia wars or bejeweled blitz or whatever the hell else you are doing, it rather demonstrates how much time you do, in fact, have ;)


If you are from Betelgeuse, please have one of your Earth friends read what I've written before you respond. Or try concentrating harder.
