We wait until closing time. I, pretending to be drunk, stumble up to the shop keeper and ask him the time. Mean while, you sneak up behind him and hit him over the head with -wait for it- the keyboard!

Now, we dash inside the shop, Ben puts the shop keeper's clothes on over his own and keeps watch outside the shop. If anyone asks what's going on, shop keeper Ben will tell them we are performing some "late night stock checks". UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE IS BEN TO TELL THEM WE ARE PULLING A HEIST!


.... there the plan fails. If you want Ben not to tell them you are pulling a heist, you have to inform him he is now the shop keeper, and that you are taking an inventory. If he actually believes it there is a small chance he will not tell people it is a heist, even if he might do that anyway for giggles.

Phase 2, Tim -who has been training as a safe cracker- heads to the vault where the good stuff is kept, Dodge takes the cash register and you and I carry three -that's THREE- new keyboards into a van waiting out the back.

We sell two of the keyboards on eBay and some of the proceeds go to charity.
