I haven't been around for a while, and now I've reached that stage where it feels like I can only look and not touch, so I guess I'll just present a simple, shallow little survey here, and hopefully start posting more soon.

I don't like the Fourth. Going to see a fireworks display is one thing, but when your crazy redneck neighbors set explosives off all week (beginning at eight in the morning) and don't even create pretty lights with them - well, it's stupid. Also, my puppy has never been more petrified.
That is a bit excessive.
2. How have you been?
Alright. Things seem to be looking up a bit. ^_^
3. Would you ever move (permanently) to a place you had never seen or visited before?
If someone I loved were there, I think I would.
4. How do you feel about lapsed friendships - something that can always be revived, or a sign that loyalty is missing? If the latter, how long before you call it quits on the relationship?
I dunno. I tend to be of the sort that sometimes lets things lapse. If they come back into my acquaintance it depends on the disposition of the person and why we fell out, I suppose.
5. Can exes ever really be friends?
I don't think so. I think one or the other always has a bit more feeling than the other and if they were to try to be friends it would pain the one and make a villain of the other- even if unawares. I think it is best that they remain cordial and amiable, but to expect friendship and the burden of confidences is too great a pain to bear.
But then again I am overly emotional so... you know if you weren't so inclined it might not be so bad.
6. What is your favorite summer food?
Strawberries, blueberries, all manner of berries. I think they are scrumptious. In fact, I am about to make "I love America pancakes" which are strawberry and blueberry pancakes. yummers. ^_^
7. Do you know how to drive a manual car? What country are you from?
Sort of. I mean I learned once but... a skill that is not regularly practice will fall into disuse and cease to be a skill.
8. What's the scariest driving experience you've ever had?
When I was learning to drive my mom once yanked the wheel out of my hands but... I think the two times I have been rear-ended or run into were a bit worse.
9. What's the longest (most driving hours per day) road trip you've ever done?
Oh I used to tour in the summer so I have been on 48hr stints or more... but you said in a day so 24.
10. Do you have any books or pieces of literature you reread yearly (or according to some other sort of schedule)? What are they?
I often re-listen to books... and I re-read portions of Jane Eyre- but I am not a planner. I'm a moment to moment kind of gal, that's me.
Other news with me - am planning to set out for my new home in WA, bright and early Tuesday morning. It will be a long drive, and I don't entirely know where I'll end up. I hope it will be nice.
