Evidently the place I would be going to is right near the Israel border and near the red sea...oddly some of the pictures of the school made it look like they actually had snow which was odd...

So yesterday I had a phone interview with the head of the science department at Kings Academy in Jordan. I had put in an application to work there but I hadn't expected anything to come of it. I would be lying if I didn't say living and working in Jordan as an American didn't scare me some. Which I am sure came through in my phone interview. I thought though I would see if there was anyone here who had any connection to that school, graduated from it worked there or any Americans who had lived or worked in Jordan. Doing as much research as I can, and as expected it is somewhat contradictory.

I know a couple of Jordanians, and my sister spent the summer there recently. You will be absolutely fine, and the place is very far from being a backwater.
