Anyone up to talk about music? Quick and easy:
Do you have a favorite band / genre that you listen to?
I like rock the best, but I like a lot of things at different times. The only exception is R&B and mindless sugarfluff teen pop. I just really don't like R&B, it's too repetitive. Or maybe I am not using the term R&B correctly. It's like that kind of hip-hop/R&B stuff they play on the radio that's not like rap but it's not jazz or anything either. Like Usher and Chris Brown and all that crap. Can't stand it.
My favorite bands are probably Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, Led Zeppelin, and The Decemberists.
What are you listening to lately?
Well right now I am listening to the Fleet Foxes cd I got from the library. Hooray for the public library! But lately I have also been listening to a lot of Led Zeppelin and other classic rock stuff.
Why should others listen to it?
Because it's awesome. What else is there to say about Led Zeppelin?? And Fleet Foxes has a really mellow folksy kind of sound, so that's nice to listen to now while I'm relaxing.

I'm kind of a metal head, but listen to a bit of the lighter stuff too. Not one particular favorite band.
Listening to the Volbeat right now. Heard "Still Counting" on my free XM trial and I'm hooked.
Good band, versatile, rock with a metal edge. Check them out if you're into that kind of thing.
