apparently I can only access this site on my work laptop if I bypass the proxy server. Since my home pc died two weeks ago, that totally sucks. :[


that proxy server is there because your company IT policy doesn't want you to spend your work hours "playing on the internet". of course, being an IT person, i say if you can still get your job done, i won't acknowledge your violation of company policy ;)
