I know I'm way oversimplifying, but my statement about being a libertarian comes from our government teacher having everyone do a survey to show how conservative/liberal they are on social and economic matters. I got socially liberal and on the border between conservative and liberal for economics. But with a bunch more in depth questions I think I would tilt slightly toward the conservative side on that, hence me applying the libertarian term to myself.
