I'm wondering what he's doing playing football in graduate school, personally (unless that's a typo). I'm sure his graduate advisor will LOVE that.
The actual rule is that the waiting period can be waived for a NCAA athlete enrolling in a graduate program at another school that isn't offered at his previous school. Thus the "parks and recreation" degree that he is pursuing.
