Why is it so sad?
Did you cry?
Is it a song that you really like?
I don't think that I am a sad person, but I like to listen to sad music. I find it cathartic. In my opinion, the best music - with and without words - is that which conveys a genuine emotion and really makes the listener experience that emotion.
I don't think sad is the same as depressing ... grief is a normal part of life. But I think that a lot of time it is something that we are encouraged to ignore as a society. It's not cool to cry in public, right? But maybe it ought to be ... I dunno, now I'm just rambling.
Thanks for playing.
